i believe i called this one early, i knew they would fall apart after the BSU loss, they have no motivation, bud foster has gone ape **** and beamer hates coaching and hates trying to get his kids motivated. watch ANY pre game interview he has done in the last 5 years. he has pretty much given up on the program and i cant figure out why nobody has seen it. his kids arent worth ****, he doesnt know if they can hold anyone down, "they have done their best to get the kids ready but so and so is looking pretty dang good and he doesnt know if they can contain them" I mean, it may be because i have played for and worked with some of the greatest motivators EVER, but it just doesnt seem right to me to lose every game before the opening kick off.

Strange that Beamer would sign a contract extension through 2016 if this is really the case.

I don't think he's given up at all. He's just fat and happy...content with the current state of the program and doesn't care to take the steps necessary to get to the next level.

I don't get how everyone thinks Foster has suddenly "lost it". He just doesn't have the horses this year, especially in the front seven. Seven new starters on D, some injuries when they didn't have a lot of depth to begin with...this is probably his least talented unit in some time.

suddenly? you havent known me very long : D

so when you KNOW that you dont have those horses why do you stick them in man coverage ina crucial situation against a QB that could be starting anywhere in the country just to see what happens? i just dont like the situation up there and its been boiling up for a while now.

The defense has played about as I would have expected so far. Believe it or not, they played well enough to win both games..their biggest issue thus far has been poor tackling and overrunning plays.

The key to the first game was all the early mistakes that gave Boise a short field. Yesterday it was the offense failing to produce in the red zone...Tech didn't punt ONE TIME against JMU...and still lost.

Tech's problem has always been its offensive approach--it tries to fit a square peg into a round hole. They recruit mobile QBs but run a pro-style system.

Tyrod Taylor would be an effective QB---in a spread-type system. With Tech though, its send everyone downfield 25 yards then scramble if the first read isn't open.
